Still life, with spring flowers

This piece uses cross-stitch techniques to pixelate the original image. The series tests our perception and memory through the simplification of images.

Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the postcard, using French cotton embroidery thread. The postcard features a vase of beautiful spring flowers.

The vintage postcard measures 3.5"x5.5" and will ship with a complimentary frame that has a clear plexiglass back so that you can also see the reverse side of the artwork. The artwork will be signed and dated in pencil on the back.

Please note: As this is a vintage postcard, there is some wear on the edges and corners of the postcard, as depicted in the photographs.
