Picking bluebonnets

A fun little postcard with tiny French knots in varying shades of periwinkle and sky blue to replicate beautiful bluebonnets in a field. The knots fade in and out of the printed bluebonnets on the postcard to provide a little play on depth.

The embroidery is created directly onto the vintage postcard using French cotton embroidery thread and hand-dyed cotton thread. 

The vintage postcard measures about 3.5"x5.5" and will arrive unframed. The artwork will be signed and dated in pencil on the back. A certificate of authenticity is included.

Please note: the first product image is a scan of the postcard, which shows more realistic colors for the artwork, and the latter two images are photographs to show texture. 

Also, due to the postcard's age, there may be some discoloration or wear and tear on the edges, as captured in the images.
