Overflow

Part of the "Combustion" series, which features hundreds of french knots, layered in various sizes and colors to build dimension and movement onto the vintage photographs.

Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the photograph, using French cotton embroidery thread and American hand-dyed silk thread. 

The vintage photograph measures about 5"x7" and is unframed.  Piece will be signed and dated on the back.

Note: The framed photos were taken underneath a suncatcher for rainbow fun, but the framing includes a simple white frame and white mat.
