Gathering poppies, California

A play with different textures to highlight the beauty of California landscapes - a field of vibrant golden poppies with a warm, swirling sky in the distance. The poppies are made up of tiny French knots in shades of sunny yellow and orange.

The embroidery is created directly onto the postcard using French cotton embroidery thread and hand-dyed silk thread. 

The vintage postcard measures about 3.5"x5.5" and will arrive unframed. The artwork will be signed and dated in pencil on the back. A certificate of authenticity is included.

Please note, due to the postcard's age, there is discoloration / wear and tear on the edges, as captured in the images.
