Fairy Pool reflections at Mt. Rainier

Part of my ongoing "Reflection" series, featuring strands of color to emulate reflected color and movement on water.

Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the postcard, using French cotton embroidery thread and hand-dyed silk thread. 

The vintage postcard (postmarked 1970) features a scene at the Fairy Pool in Mt. Rainier National Park. It measures about 3.5"x5.5" and is unframed. The piece will be signed and dated on the back in pencil.

Please note, as this is a vintage postcard, it features wear along the edges and corners of the postcard as shown in the photographs.
