A day at the beach

A continuation of my "Window" series, which uses cross-stitch techniques to pixelate the original image. The series highlights our hazy recollection of past experiences as shapes and colors.

Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the postcard, using French cotton embroidery thread. The postcard features a beach scene from Poland.

The vintage postcard measures 4"x5.75" and will arrive in a complimentary white floating 8"x10" glass frame, which allows viewers to enjoy both sides of the artwork.
